An unwanted call from this Tacoma WA cell number arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) often do this while trolling the phone lines, desperately seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
The area code for Tacoma is 253. Why would someone from Tacoma use an 805 area code, except for the purpose of scamming folks who live in the 805 area, which includes Santa Barbara County and Ventura County?
