An unwanted call from this Camarillo VOIP number arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
Posters report the caller is a scam HVAC contractor, of whom there are many. Whether it's air duct cleaning, home improvements, HVAC systems, solar energy, credit cards, vacation giveaways, computer repairs, or the IRS, A SCAM IS A SCAM IS A SCAM.

Another unwanted call from this Camarillo VOIP number arrived today, just 1 week after the last unwanted call on June 14. When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
Posters report the caller is a scam HVAC contractor, of whom there are many. An honest, licensed HVAC contractor (found on Angie's List) would not stoop to lawbreaking to drum up business, but a scammer will do business no other way.
