Unsolicited call from 805.408.4238 on landline phone. Did not answer; no voice mail message left. Web research reveals plenty of complaints, re Med Alert scammer advertising "free" medical alert i ready to be sent. Those who respond are asked for credit card number (i.e. scammer/IDtheft MO).

Did a little digging on the company that owns this number, it's called Silver Strand. LLC, owner is Thomas W. Luczal of Agoura hills, ca. I found his info on this webpage using that info:
