Called and stated that they were from Florida and were doing an investigation on me. I have never lived in Florida and am a model citizen and do not have any reason for an investigation to be done. Did not leave a company name or name of the person who called. Called them back and was put on hold for the next investigator. The message was for a lady who said she is with the check fraud division - what company? Who knows. Check fraud would not apply to me.

SAID NCI HAD LOCATED ME AND THAT STATE ATTORNEY OFC FOR FLORIDA AND TEXAS FILED ALLEGATIONS AGAINST ME. DID NOT CONFIRM IF I WAS RIGHT PERSON OR NOT, BEGAN BEING RUDE RIGHT OFF THE BAT and threatening me with legal action. I have never lived in Florida! I AM NOT EVEN SURE WHAT THIS IS ABOUT OR WHAT THE COMPANY IS! HAD TO HANG UP BECAUSE THEY WERE SO RUDE!

Callers said they were looking for my step daughter, when she called them back they advised her they would mail a warrant if they had too, however if she paid them $400.00, they would make the problem go away. Second call to me caller John White left a Court Docket number, however when I searched Florida Court Docket numbers the number doesn't exist.
On second call I asked John White where they were located he told me Tampa, but would not give me an address. Both times I was told they were from the Law Firm of Jones and Assoc., can't find that either. Daughter called her local Police Dept. and they told her she had no warrants.
