These people called for me and said I was going to be arrested for 3 felonies. Count 1 was violation of federal banking laws, count 2 check fraud and count 3 theft by deception. They refused to tell my wife who the actual person was that was bringing charges against me, but did say I had 2 hours to pay them 1245.39 or he would be arrested and transported to California. They tried to say that I had set up a payment for a payday loan and it was dishonored by my bank, so thats why charges were being filed. Now, I have never gotten an online payday loan, but my wife had been online looking for info on refinancing our house. She talked to the police and the one she talked to had gotten a call just like that. She was told if they call back to tell them the calls being recorded and turned in to the FBI. She did that today when they called again, but then they started calling my work number. I now have the calls being investigated and hopefully something will be done.
