This is my question: WHY would a so-called "LEGITIMATE CHARITY" need to call, DAILY, RELENTLESSLY.... ***WITH A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT (other than the 855 prefix) NUMBER EACH TIME - *and* WITHOUT Clearly and Properly IDENTIFYING THEMSELVES over Caller ID???? They have called me FOUR TIMES within the last week; ALL DIFFERENT NUMBERS, *NO NAME* on Caller ID.

ANSWER: This is NOT a LEGITIMATE Charity call but someone PRETENDING to rep them.

THIS IS THE REASON WHY YOU **NEVER** GIVE OUT **ANY** INFORMATION over the phone to COLD CALLING STRANGERS - and ESPECIALLY NEVER AGREE To GIVE ANY MONEY TO THEM - because there is NO WAY to VERIFY that they are really WHOM they say they are!!

And even if this really IS the ADA, SHAME ON THEM for using these tactics, and THEY DO NOT DESERVE your donation. ONLY if we STAND TOGETHER and REFUSE to BOW TO THIS TELE-TERRORISM will this STOP.

BTW, The American Diabetes Association is only rated a "1" out of a possible 4 by Charity Navigator.com These people are THIEVES in Washington, DC; ENRICHING ONLY THEMSELVES under the very thin GUISE of 'charity' activity.
