Rec'd call from 011-001-8554. Caller claimed she was from Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and asked to speak to the parent of my 16 year old daughter. She asked me to give my daughters day and month of her birthdate. I declined and asked the caller what this was in regards to. She said she couldn't give me more info until I verified, only that it wasn't in regard to benefits. I said I wasn't comfortable giving out that information. She said she understood and gave me another number to call back at a later time (855-484-9160). I called that number and it answered as a Wellmark number and to hold for operator. I know DARN sure after wanting to get in touch for years with Wellmark on the weekend (a whole other story!) that their operators aren't there on Saturday. Would like to know who REALLY called me.
