They failed to name who was handling the case. This is a scam. First contact in such matters is always made by mail and usually certified. It is done that way, so you can not claim to get the information. Scammer!

The caller ID said unknown, but I was told in a message to call this number. The person leaving the message said his name was Mark and that he was calling on behalf of the County Legal Claims Office and that I was basically being sued. Said I have 24 hours to call this number or they will make a decision without my consent. I know for a fact this is B.S. and has to be a scam. That isn't the way it works if I were truly being sued. Probably trying to scare people into paying money they don't owe.
