I called the phone number as directed by a pop-up in Google Chrome saying I possibly had a virus. A representative answered and told me he could run my computer to see what was the problem. I declined. The whole thing seemed fishy. If you get this pop-up I suggest skipping the number and taking your computer to Staples or Best Buy if you have any concerns about viruses on your system.

My Mac got a virus and a pop-up would come up indicating my cable company needed me to call 855-995-4941 because it appears that my OS X computer has a security alert. At the top of the pop-up reads: todays-living.com

This number comes up when you have a malware Chrome Extension called SalePlus or SSalePlUUS. To get rid of it: Open Extensions, check the Developer checkbox. Look under the SalePlus entry and it will show the "Load From" folder for this viral extension. Delete that folder then restart Chrome.
Do not call that number. I've read that they bill your phone when you call. Plus, they're evil.
