The operator works for a firm called NetQuote.com and they're looking to make money off you as the lead. Leads are bought by insurance companies looking to make transaction sales. If you don't want to be pressured into giving out your personal information for a renter's insurance quote or other quotes, HANG UP THE PHONE after you tell them you're not interested in anything or simply say you're not obligated to answer them any questions.
I answered them even tho I said I wasn't interested in any product, now I'm getting emails from them.
Better yet, don't answer them!

I answered it today @ 3:54pm and a woman asked me questions about a quote for renter's insurance. I told her I have no interest at this time and I think she is on commission and proceeded to ask questions about my housing arrangements and she lied and said she needed the information for more auto insurance quotes sent my way. Right! I gave her the info but would have hung up on her when I said I have no interest.
If you filled out a form online for auto insurance quotes, this number will call you, and it may seem anonymous, it's not. It's for renter's insurance. More annoying calls from these business coming your way if you verified the personal info they have on file of you.
