I don't have a Barclay card and I recieved the same call.

877-464-9118 is not a valid phone number. Received a call reportedly from Barclay Card saying my account was put on hold. I don't have an account with Barclay. Called Barclay, though, and an automated message said scammers had been calling lists of phone numbers, trying to get personal information.

Strange. I just got this call too, but I have no idea how they got my number and knew I had a Barclay's card, which I rarely use. Strange question - recently bought something at Gilt, and I'm wondering if there's a problem on their end.

Got a call about a potential issue with my Barclay credit card and they had to put a hold, which I don't have one. looks like a scam. Be careful with your card numbers.

I got the same phone call, I called Barclay bank and they have an automated response saying that people have left fraudulent messages. Just don't call back the number that they leave in your voice mail, or give out personal information.
