Called my dad looking for my brother in law stating they were the sheriff's department and they had a warrant for his arrest. Funny thing is that my nephew works at the sheriff's department and knew that there was no warrant for his dad. They were VERY threatening!

Said that my husband owed for a payday loan and that they were filing paperwork for fraud. Do have his social security number but it is a scam!! They call me several times a day, when asked to provide the information for the loan (which is required by law) they refuse and tell me that they do not have to provide anything until a payment arrangement is set up. When i refuse to pay until i see the documentation they hang up! He has never had a payday loan.Beware!

I also got a call saying they were filing with legal action against me. They called my phone, they called my father's phone and they called my another persons phone looking for me. I also asked them for proof of this debt and they said that they do not have to provide the proof until I create a payment arrangement with my account numbers I said that this was against federal law and that they must provide proof of the debt. They hung Up on me. They told me that the original creditor was bell capital when I called Bill capital you cannot get through to any person and the only thing that happens is if you are over the age of 50 you press two or if you're under the age of 50 you press one if you are under the age of 50 and you press one the phone automatically hangs up and if you press two because you were over the age of 50 a recording comes on and says we have recorded your information and you will be contacted and a later time. This leads me to believe that they are looking for people over the age of 50 because owner people have a tendency to fall into the phone scam trap. I know that this has to be one of two things a scam because I do not owe any debt to any person or I have become a victim of identity theft and there is a debt out there in my name in which I feel that is highly unlikely
