Calls from 800-804-1698 asking to verify employment records on a former employee and they have the first name right but the last name wrong. Just seems very suspicious to me and judging by the Google searches, I was right to look into this.

The number 888 804-1698 has called four times already (by mid morning). I couldn't understand the first person and hang up.(India) The next caller says "We are calling due to your interest from our online survey. We offer help with a "home based business" (or something). You are out of work, yes? We can help you. I say "how did you get this number" they say "you filled out our online form" I say "I did not, put this number on your do not call list". They hang up. They gave a couple different company names, but I'm sure its a scam. I never give out my number. We'll see how many more times I get the call.
