I received a call from this number from someone saying they were a collection agency representing HBC. I told him that I went bankrupt two years ago and anything I owed HBC was included in that and that I spoke to someone about it just a few weeks ago. He told me that he had not spoken to me since August and that I was lying. He then asked why someone so young went bankrupt and I said it was not his business. He started yelling at me and accused me of racking up bills on and then taking the easy way out. He kept yelling at me asking if that's what I was doing, taking the easy way out over and over again until I just hung up on him.
After I hung up I checked the caller display and noticed it was a 905 number. The person I talked to a few weeks ago called from an 866 number. So either HBC has two collection agencies calling me after I went bankrupt or one is some kind of scammer. Either way, this one was a horrible person who got judgemental and made me feel like crap about what was a very difficult time for me. I would not even try to talk to anyone calling from this phone number.
