I just received the same exact call, I let it go to voicemail, called my CPA, it's a scam to steal your identity! My identity was stolen in 2013 and was just resolved this year! I don't put my SS# on any Dr forms anymore, nothing! I tried calling the number back out of curiosity, line was busy.

Got the same thing but figured if I called the 917-310-1313 number I would be paying for the phone call as well. I ironically did just go through a real IRS issue as well and Irrate is correct, it came in the mail and eventually was a certified letter. Not even going to bother calling back.
The original number was 607-594-4641 and was from Dandy Mini Mart according to caller ID.

I received a call from a robot saying that the IRS was going to be filing a lawsuit again us and we needed to call back asap to the 917-310-1313 phone number. Ironically my MIL did have one of her tax returns recently audited and we did owe tax on it, so I did call back because I was concerned that the call was regarding that issue. When I called I got ahold of a heavily accented man who then explained that there was some sort of numerical error for tax years 2008-2012 and that we owed $3287 I said BS because if that was the case we would have received something by mail, and if we hadn't responded it would have come certified, not some sketchy phone call, and that there was no way in HELL I would be giving them any information over the phone and I wouldn't be paying crap until they could show me in writing what this "Numerical" error was.
