A recorded message stated that the call was from the IRS and they were suing me for taxes owed. First, I don't owe any taxes. Second, the IRS never calls people. If the IRS wants to discuss an issue, the taxpayer will receive a notice via the US Postal Service. The IRS will issue instructions on the notice. This is definitely a scam and is targeted to seniors, or low-income individuals.
