They called several months ago saying I owed on a student loan. I told them that I don't have any student loans, then they got belligerent and started talking down to me like I was some low life. I asked them to tell me when these loans were supposed to have been taken out and they told me 2008 - 2010. I started laughing and told him "nice try", that I grduated college (my last degree) in 1991. He started telling me that no I didn't and that I took out loans between 2008 and 2010. I told him nice try again, but suffered a permanent brain injury in 2002 that limits my ability to form and retain new memories, so why would I go back to school when I haven't a prayer of LEARNING or RETAINING ANYTHING?!? He told me that I was just saying that to get out of paying back my student loans. At that point I asked to speak to a supervisor, to which he refused. I told him if I EVER hear from them again I will sue them for harassment, and that like them, I too was recording the conversation as evidence. Dead silence. I said "I guess you got my message, now F OFF".
