New employee who was trained well received one of these scam calls the first day on the job and knew exactly how to be a firewall.
No information was provided, and scammer was not successful. Scam caller was an Indian-sounding woman. Unsuccessful Toner Scam. Once you give out your copier or printer model #, they send you supplies you did not order and harass you for payment for unwanted, unrequested merchandise. They pretend they are calling from "customer service" and are just making a friendly service call.
