They just called me and said that they would be taking me to court in 2-3 weeks. I don't owe a internet loan company. Said this was from 2011. What do I do? Said that in the end I would have to pay $2300! Please help!

They called me saying that i owed money from a payday loan in 2012 in which i haven't even lived in that city since 2010. She said if i don't pay 700 dollars to settle then they would garnish my wages.She got nasty with after she told me that i would have to go to court n get a lawyer or pay up. Then she hung up on me.

He called saying i owe money which I don't and said in would be served papers it's a civil suit also wanted me.to settle a debt.over the phone I told him to send the information and they also called my job and telling my Co workers will there be a.problem.when I get served with papers.

By law under the Fair Debt Collection Act, the collection agencies have to but it in writing not e-mail, In order for you to validate the debt, You can get samples on web. Send it certified return receipt and keep copies.
