Called my work today for the third consecutive day in a row. Tries to get through by asking for "Bill" (my boss is named "William" but only answers to his middle name -- Certainly never goes by "Bill") so I knew he wasn't a friend like he was pretending to be. Typically he asks for my boss (the company owner) and is always told he isn't here and I can take a message. Usually he hangs up too quickly for me to tell him to take us off his list. Today when he called I recognized the number on caller id and told him that he would never be able to reach the boss without leaving a message as he has me screen all of his calls. He was really rude about this and answered, "Well that's just AWESOME. I guess you'll be taking a message for me the next time I call." I answered with, "Is this a solicitation call?" and he answered, "Yes it is." I told him, "Please take us off your list." He said, "There is no list." Then I told him, "Well then please do not call us again as we have a policy of never accepting any phone solicitations." He replied (rather sarcastically), "Really? AWESOME!" and then hung up. Honestly, I don't see how he expects to sell anything to anyone when he is that rude. If he calls back I am turning him in.
