Stated if a certain name, not me, would be home tomorrow for a warrant served, I laughed and told them that according to the fair credit act civil judgements are a non criminal offense I asked to speak to his supervisor stated he was then he called me stupid, I laughed again, and said I recording this and submitting to my states attorney general he hung up.

Said civil process server had papers for me using a maiden name I haven't used in many years. Also called a former brother in law I haven't seen in 20 years and said he had papers to serve about a case to do with ME and a lawsuit against me. Reported to the feds.

Said civil process server asking if you'll be home next day. Asked what regarding they gave me an 888 number and case number...when I checked 888 number it's another country...

Called first time no Mesg. Called second time n said was with civil legal dept n was being served tomorrow between 9-4. Asked if would be home. I didn't reply m asked what it was regards to women hung up.
Obviously a scam. Process servers do not call they just show up

Call came from Daisy at the "Civil Procedures Division".
I received two calls from this number today. On my cellphone and home phone asking for my maiden name which I have not used in over a decade. They claimed that they had documents to delivery to me and needed ME to call ANOTHER number to find out what and why. I then in turn asked the person their name, & location. The first person that would be Daisy told me her name then hung up when I informed her I would need the address for a police report. The second guy also refused to give me his name and just hung up.
I was harassed by these same people earlier this year. I was told I was being sued but they refused to tell me by who or why or how or anything other than they needed me to be home on a specific day to receive the "paperwork from an officer". I called my local police department to ask if this was something they do or if they had ever heard about it. I filed a complaint with them, they followed up with the number which was then out of Florida and told me to NOT speak with them again as they actually hung up on a person who called identifying themself as a police officer seeking information. I now always ask for a name and a location and then a direct phone number to their office. If a business won't give you that information they are not a business they are a scam. I actually was taken to court once over a debt I didn't realize I had and if you get a summons no one calls you first to ask if you will politely accept it. That is not a thing!
