Have been getting calls for the past month 2-5 times per day. Finally answered TWICE today...first call they hung up; second spoke to someone with an accent asking for my EX-husbands NEW wife. Got VERY upset & he hung up on me. I believe this is a collection agency who will go through ANYTHING to contact the person in debt.

After several attempts to get these idiots to remove my number i decided to go straight to their office, calling the main number listed above and asking to speak to a manager. BUT GUESS WHAT !? They still call!
Above is their Office address and phone, perhaps if enough people call them direct they will start to do somthing about the wrong info their lazy skip tracers provide them.

They are a bottom fedding collection agency. Allied Interstate violates Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the set of laws governing the guidelines for collection agencies.
But don't ignore the calls because they can go to any extent and may also drag you to the court. The best way to tackle such call is to send a debt validation (DV) letter to them and ask them to verify the debt. Also check whether any negative information has been entered in your credit report. If Allied Interstate fails to validate the debt then you can send them a Cease and Desist (C&D) letter to stop their harassment and they are bound to follow it.
