This company mentioned they were acting on behalf of mastercard debt collector. I believe the debt is valid, but they are not acting on behalf of the valid debt. I spoke with my business lawyer, she mentioned Fair Debt Collection Act, requires the company to provide specific proof of debt, when I spoke with Jordan, he could not provide that information, which is against the law and the company can be penalized for contacting someone without having that proof.
