These people called in ABRIL.

They threaten me military style quite rude and insistent on the phone DID not THINK IT OVER WAS INTIMIDATED, quite frankly!
Failed to request a written verification of the case , did not know my right for a Letter of Validation of Debt not the Statue of Limitation.

They were threatening to serve papers, take me to court, and garnish wages.
This is a scam!!!!!

Don't fall for it. I payed $300 for the lesson!!!

My debt was from 2004 they cannot legally collect it but they will give you a spew about a civil case being able to be collect whenever I checked with the debtor and my case is CLOSED!

They called from 888-794-2763 ext.103 . I did request a letter and they send a fake letter with the following heading:

They stated that I owed money on a loan and that 3 different collection agencies have had this account. I have never taken out a loan and they used a real bank name. As I stated, I haven't taken out a loan, ever. They offered to settle on the case for $800.00 if I'd pay now. When I tried to get info on the place, all I got was Arbitrary Mediation. I couldn't get the date of the original "loan" or any further info. They called the first time last year, then called me a month ago and again yesterday. This would make me think they were legit, but for the fact I didn't owe that debt. They threatened me that I was going to have a case filed if I didn't comply, and yesterday they said that they had tried to serve the papers, but were unable to at ___ (my address) which was correct. They also threatened to go to my work place to have me served or arrested. They also have my correct SSN. They asked if I was going to be home yesterday, so they could serve me the papers, and I asked if I could pick them up but they refused, so I stayed home at the time they said. She said, good luck with your case. You should get yourself an attorney now!
Of course, they never showed. I'm assuming they'll be back at some point saying they could offer me the $800 deal again, we'll see.
