This number is solely the harassment number used by an unscrupulous company by the name of ARO. I have never come across an organization like this before. The definition of the word unscrupulous has never been used in a more precisely accurate fashion. un·scru·pu·lous – adjective: having or showing no moral principles; not honest or fair.

They practice nothing more or less than intimidation with pathetically shameless phone tactics. This number 289-789-3341 is used by ARO if they intend to "shake you down" for not being intimidated enough, they call repeatedly usually up to 5 or 6 times each time there is no intent to pick up it goes directly to being "on hold". If you attempt to call back on that line it does not accept calls. On a side not, the fact that it's legal for the big phone companies to sell these lines is beyond my comprehension.
ARO also operates with the phone numbers 905-968-0501, and a toll free number 1-866-667-3341. They are unprofessional by any measure to even consider the comparison is by far giving them too much credit. It seems to me with the exposure I have had that they are owned or representing Cogeco as a key client or owner. This should be explored and revealed, If it is fact then clearly Cogeco should be held accountable for this band of marauding children. Start by blocking the aforementioned numbers, I'm quite sure they'll have more however worth the effort. The second is as I am now, look into the legal options available. If this is a credit issue do not let them shame you into silence. It's the only weapon they have. WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL. THEY CAN BE CHARGED AND LAWSUITS FILED. DO NOT KEEP QUIET. POST IT EVERYWHERE YOU CAN SPREAD THE WORD, FILE ACTION AGAINST THEM.

And don't let the website fool you. Anyone can put up a professional looking front, they are nothing less than a boiler room of childish, unprofessional telemarketers. They capitalize on your embarrassment of old debt and the tactics are nothing more than bully playground harassment. Stand up for your rights and self respect.
