They continually call me about insurance. They ask what kind of car I drive, I continue to tell them I am disabled and don't drive. They hang up while I'm talking, and call back another day.

Called me yesterday. When I called back the mailbox was full. Called again today and I answered. When I asked who he was trying to reach after he gave me the company name, we were either disconnected or he hung up. Number is listed as landline in white pages. Don't know why a car insurance company from South Carolina would call me in Pennsylvania. I don't drive and need no insurance.

Caller sounded to be Indian in nationality. They incorrectly identified my vehicles year. When I told them that it was incorrect they proceeded to guess. They said that they had information about insurance rates and that they represented AAA. They don't, I checked. They claim to be BBB certified. They aren't. They call me nearly daily and I am considering changing my phone number to eliminate this problem

Just now got a call from this number. On the other end was what sounded like a person from India who related he was from "Auto Care". I could not understand his name nor did I bother asking him to repeat it. I immediately stated that my number was "on the Do Not Call Registry in the UNITED STATES." He immediately without haste apologized and hung up. Happened during dinner hour of course.

Good old "George" had a heavy mid-east accent and repeated the COMPLETELY BOGUS info I had given other car/home insurance telemarketers (make/year/model of car, my age/DOB, etc.), and I agreed that the (again, ALL BOGUS!)info was correct... Since my phone number has been listed on the National Do-Not-Call Registry for many years, this call was made illegally. Unfortunately, I can't get to "George" or his "Auto Care" company. Fortunately, "George" will be giving my information to actual brokers, and when they call, I'll get as much info as I can about each, and file a BBB complaint against each ("Unethical sales practices" for using a law-breaking entity to drive sale leads to them). Might take some effort, but if we want the illegal Phone Madness to stop, we have to hit them where it hurts - their bottom line. Have fun!
