I had a similar call from Mr. Collins looking for another party claiming to be collecting for Snap On tools. I told him that I didn't know who he was and I don't give any information over the phone to people I don't know. This was his second or third call and I told him he was bothering me and not to call any more. Then he started cussing and calling me names. If he is a legitimate attorney he is very unprofessional. It was like he was a bounty hunter bill collector.

This Ed collins is a scam. he is claiming to be collecting for Snap-on-Tool. He makes lot's of threats and swears at you. When you call the phone number back he does not asnswers as a business as a normal business would. Beware of his scam. He offers no crediential and is calling us insteady of the person he is looking for.

An ed collins called me threatening a felony arrest warrant being issued if I didn't pay a debt by a certain day. A quick Google search lead me here and then I contacted an attorney. She said it was a scammers and not to worry about it. There is no ed collins associated with the florida bar in orlando that went to stetson like he claims. Best and associates, which has an inactive status with the state of Florida due to administrative dissolution so he's not supposed to be doing business other than wind down operations, is suppsedly owned by a richard best on the companies paperwork with the company, owner, and registered agent all at the ups store. The registered agent for best and associates is Littlebits House of Dogs LLC with address also at the ups store in orlando. The registered agent for littlebits is incorp, inc that has a Delaware address. Who ever he is he wants to hide it, probably because the tactics employed by him are illegal under the fair debts collection practices act. Read your rights on this then contact an attorney. There are a lot that will work on contingency. There is also a Facebook page associated with best and associates and the number 4078790171. The owner of this page is a richard taylor that claims to be self employed and own best and associates. He says he specializes in collecting past due tool truck accounts and collects for snap on, matco,mac,and cornwell. He says he's the best in the business. The business number he lists on facebook is 4072230906, which is also a cell phone listed with Verizon while 0171 is a metro phone. So call richard taylor and tell him to go fuck himself

Claims on his letterhead he is an agent from best and associates. No verification yet. Doesn't seem to be existant for that name and address.

Identified himself as Ed Collins from Orlando Florida. Sent a letter head from best and associates ..claiming felony and demanding money. Claiming to send arrest warrants, charges etc. It's a cell number and the address is a UPS Store in Orlando. He is a scam artist. Makes threatening phone calls all day and all night. Threatening texts too. It's a cell phone.

Received threats from this jerk. A little research. He's a phony. He claims to be a debt collector. He is un licensed and has no ability to do more then harass. He is mental masterbation for his clients. Nothing more. He is however fun to screw with, he looses his cool and tries to act "gangster" I record his calls now and pass them along as humor. this guy is a total jackass. A real telephone tough guy. Haha.
