Said we had been approved for a $10,000 loan, that my husband had applied for. Told caller that we had NOT applied for any loans. Told him that we were not interested. He then ask me what I would like for him to do with the money. Can anyone guess what I told him?? :-)

This number called me and said they had received a loan application in my name. When i told her it was not me, she told me I had to pay to cancel the loan application. Recognizing the scam, I told her that was false and I wasn't falling for it. She put me on the phone with her manager who began to threaten me, called me everything in the book and threatened to gang rape me at 3pm the next day. He told me my "pussy" would be destroyed. He even read me my address. When I hung up, he began calling me from my own phone number and asking me if I was scared of his magic. They have continued to call and harass me, the police just left.

A caller of "Cash America" called and left a message about a $9000 loan application that I had not made. He said the loan had been approved and to call him back. He had a foreign accent and the background noise was that of a typical telemarketing boiler room.

WATCH OUT If you get a call from 4062041156 They are SCAM ARTISTS and that is an insult to the word artist. They are 3-4 thickly accented people that supposedly know information and they threaten to have the police come and arrest you. I told them since the dont know anything to send the police. Then I called the police and the local FBI this is a huge scam and only honest people get scared enough to call the police to find out if these idiots are real. Well 4062041156 Im blasting you on every site I can find calling you the scam you are! If the police do show up at least they will know enough English to tell me what in the world I did. congrats you are not going to get anything from me except me filing a claim with the FBI which I already did.

Keeps calling telling me I've been approved for a loan I did not apply for! Blocked the number on my phone and now I keep getting the calls from a Unkown number.

They called me last week and said i was approved for a loan for 1500 dollars. Then they told me i would have to go get a greendot voucher to verify that it was me. The voucher is like 280 dollars that they want. I told them i was going to "think about it" and they should call me back later. Ms Williams really wanted to call me back at 1:30 so i just ignored the calls. I received a call maybe like a week or two later and the guy started his pitch off with the same you have been approved for a 1500 loan and i told him i had already spoken with them and i just want to be off their call list He became irate and said that i owed them 1500 dollars for a loan they approved and that he wanted his money. He said that monday they would begin court orders on me and i said okay and he hung up. After thinking over that he had threaten me with legal action i called back and asked him when did they give me 1500 and i not pay it back. He became defensive as he told me it was 2 weeks ago and i let him know that they never sent any money nor did i go and get a stupid greendot money voucher because they could verify me way differently. He told me that he would sue me and told me to shut up when i let him know that he was attempting to extort money from me by making false threats of legal action over agreements never met in the first place. He hung up the phone and so i called back and let him know that this is what his customers go through everyday when they are being harassed by these companies. He told me that he had been in the business 30 years, called me a carpet bagger(which is weird) and said that greendot is a billion dollar business. I told him that if he was not even able to tell me when they gave me the loan or how they gave it to me then he had no legal case at all and my bank statements( which he said would prove nothing) showed no deposit from their company. I even told him how payday loans are actually suppose to be done because i worked in the banking field and let him know that i would settle this in court if he wants but hes going to lose...A scam and fake debt collector ..do not fall for this

I received a call from 818-337-3040. A guy said his name was Rick Foster. He told me I got a loan from Cash America and I never repaid the loan. He had my social security number and place of employment. I repeatedly told him I never had a loan with them. He threatened to have me arrested for fraud. When I raised my voice he hung up on me.

SPAM! SCAM! Called this number back (from my work phone - not mine) and someone from "Cash America" answered and asked me if I was looking for a loan. I answered 'yes' and they asked for the name of my bank. Then they asked for my username and password. I just kept BSing them for a while and hung up after wasting a few minutes of THEIR time!
