I got the same call today saying I got a loan out for 300.00 and that they wanted me to pay off half of it which would be 666.00 and if not it would be over 26999 dollars, it's a scam because I never took out a loan for any amount of me and I would never take out a pay day loan!

They called me saying that I got a loan out for $300 back in January so I called my bank to confirm this. I did not and they said "well it could have been sent in check form" but they could not disclose the name of the loan company to me. Just that it went through highland... she kept cutting me off and saying that they will take legal action if the money is not credited by 6. They said since I'm in delinquency I now owe 483 and if I don't pay it by today I will be charged $2060. They could not provide any evidence supporting their case so I guess I'm ready for their "legal action"
