Called claiming my computer was infected, claimed he was from Microsoft, asked that I press the windows key and the "R" key which prompts a password entry. He asked that I enter something but I refused and told him that I had no idea who he was. he gave me the John name, the 1-800=815-7929 number and said I could call from my cell to confirm while he waited on house line. I hung up. Called later and no one answers and caller ID was blocked when he called. Just a limp dick trying to take control of peoples computers.

A lady going by the name "Sophie" called. Strong south asian accent, claimed to be from Microsoft. She claimed to want to repair my computer. she hung up as soon as I began to ask what the company name was. I don't know what they really want or do, but it doesn't sound like they are in a real business...scam thieves.

just got the same call from a woman with an Indian accent, she told her my computer was fine no error, have all of my remote access and reports turned off so I knew it was a scam. Told her so , she hung up on me too.

Just got a call from this number. The caller spoke with an Indian accent and claimed to be calling from Microsoft. Apparently my computer encountered an error, and sent a report to Microsoft which he was responding to. The called asked if I could go to my computer and he would walk me through the issue. - I have not had any computer issues, and when I asked the caller for his official Microsoft credentials he hung up.

Received a call today from some guy claiming to be from Microsoft security or technical support. Said I had hackers attacking my computer and he was calling to help me. I wanted access to my computer and credit card information. Obviously a scam. Please don't fall for it. If you give him access or credit card information, get your computer cleaned, close your credit card account, make a police report right away!
