I have dealt with these types of scam calls in the past so I was aware of their motive from the beginning. The caller was male with a very deep indian accent and claimed that there have been issues noted through Windows and that they were alerting me of a problem coming from my computer. I was told that there were problems being flagged the past few weeks when using the internet and sending email via the internet. I first mentioned that we have an IT company who I could contact to look into the problem. They claimed that this problem was basically too comprehensive for our IT's. As they continued to say that there are threatening flags being reported from my computer (as this is a business there are more than 1) I told them that we have a reliable anti virus program that has not reported any issues in which they replied that this was not a virus issue (then what the hell was affecting my computer? haha) I ended the call with telling them I would have my IT's look into it and their reply was to do whatever I wanted. Tired of these scams!
