I just received a voicemail from this number claiming to be my state's "Fraud and Economic Complaints Department." I live in Colorado though, and the call came from Texas, and she used my former married name from over 10 years ago. "Ms. Hunter" claimed she was scheduling a "Service of Process," and was required by federal law to call and ask if I wanted my lawyer present. Wha...??? No case number and no mention as to what it might be about. She ended the message by saying if I didn't return the call I would be marked as "non-compliant" and wished me luck. LOL!!! Nothing on my credit report in collections, so obviously I'm being spammed. Glad I'm not a big dummy!
