Claimed to be from GE Home Security and was in the process of asking "How are you, today?" when I hung up on him. So much for the great "Do Not Call" list.

This woman called my phone asking for my mother. (my mother is not tied to my phone number at all) She stated that she qualified for free home security and if we would like to take the offer. I asked her how she got this number, and she stated that she has spoke to my mother before. I told her to remove this number from her list and if she got this number from the internet that she needs to stop calling. Once I told her this sounded too much like a scam she got very defensive and told me she could not remove me from the list until she hears it from my parents(again, they have no ties to my phone #)
