I got a call on my cell phone from a guy with an Indian accent saying that I was awarded a government grant that I do not have to pay back. He said that I have to call 718-213-4814 to claim my grant. He said his name was John Miller. He said that my grant claim code was GG1221. This is clearly a scam. Do not call this number and do not give them any personal information, especially credit card numbers.

I Googled the phone number to check possible scam... and found various websites with same number to call back. Definitely looks to be a scam!

This jerk calls and leaves a message, stating my wife's name. He said he is with the IRS and he is an agent name John Smith. He has a strong Indian accent and is in no way a John Miller..

i got a call from the same person saying the same thing with a different name, but he did have a strong accent he told me he would have me arrested if i did not pay or call him back. i reported the number, also i am getting a call from 4108342592 her name is vicky willson with a huge accent as well.

We called the number and it was a legit number for this department.
Guy had an obvious Indian Accent that sounded computer generated.
