I have not been personally defrauded, but would like to report attempts:
Twice in the past two weeks (despite my being on the Federal Do Not Call list), I have received a phone call from a "John Williams" from the "Computer Support Help Desk" supposedly calling about my computer.
He did not ask for any person by name, and (as it happens) I do not personally have a computer. The first time he called, I told him this, so I could not get his number for it to be investigated. Today, I simply told him I couldn't talk right now and asked for his number to call him back at, and he gave me the 760-392-3952 number I listed above.
The only reason I can imagine someone making unsolicited calls claiming to be from a computer support help desk would be to engage in phishing or identity theft.

They are claiming that I ahve 3 counts against me and they keep calling my job. They say my social without me clarifying my identity.

This "John Williams" guy said he's an investigator and warned us that a civil case may be filed against us if we don't settle a debt he claimed we owe from a long time ago. He was rude, aggressive and insulting. Told him that our lawyer will take care of these things for us. He hung up.

Calling me to notify that charges are being brought against me and that sheriffs will be sent to my work place and or home with a warrant for my arrest
But in order to settle this matter with no legal matters if I was able to settle out of court
That's where it didn't make sense, it's over the phone and stipulated it was a Federal Wire Tap.. Also, are Charges against me legal like criminal or lawsuit?
