They just called me today with a very same info about a loan in the amount of $450 from August 2013. Said it would be over $2000 in legal fees if they pursue legal action but I could $450 today to settle the debt. I asked for there info to investigate and the woman Pamela James wouldn't give me anything saying I had until 5pm to let them know my response or the team would file.

Do not give them any money.
It is clear that they are not legit - the fact that they answer the phone saying 'legal department' instead of with a company name is a dead giveaway.
I suggest reporting them to the FBI which is what I did when they called me.

I received call from this company stating I owed $500. they needed to settle this today for $500 otherwise going to court and fees would be over $2000. I asked for documention said they couldnt provide this to me and said the creditor is Fox Enterprises which I have never heard of. I said I am entitled to this documentation to prove I owed this prior to paying. she said no they cant do that. they wanted me to give them my credit card to take care of this. I am thinking this is a scam. she said this is not. she had a claim# and ss# and my address. Lost of what to do.
