This person is calling my company cell phone and leaving messages asking me to return his call regarding an "important, urgent legal matter involving my social security number" This is an obvious scam.

I've had my number for 2+ years and for 2+ years I have been getting calls from debt collectors for someone I have never heard of who I assume had my number before me. I tell them each time I don't know the person they are calling for and they say they will take care of it. A few days later, another call comes in. 2 years. Yes, I know, why not change my number. My wife won't let me because of the hassle notifying family, friends and others.

I just received a call from 312-971-6237. The man identifies himself as John Thomas and that he works for Legal Processing Services. He then states, "I am trying to reach you. This is a legal matter. Please return my phone call". Now this person did not call me by name or give specifics. Also, I am on the "no call registry" list under the FTC and this person still attempted to contact me. Definitely a red flag.
