Received a call at 0200 hours. I answered a bit sharply and the caller did not say anything. I called back today and spoke with Alexander, who was concerned as to why I was closing my account. I provided a bunch of reasons and in the process used the word "shit." Alexander took offense at that word and informed me that he would not tolerate this type of verbal abuse. I then lectured Alexander about his role as a customer service agent with respect to retention theory and practices. Alexander heard the word "shit" again and started to rebuff me, but didn't get very far until he heard a very complex barrage of words he didn't seem to have ever heard before. I think he puckered a bit when I hung up on him.
