They sent me two letters over the past month with their phone number 800-281-4338, pretending to be from Ford Motor Vehicle Division and stating my Ford vehicle service contract was up when it is not -- they're ignorant to think that people fall for their stupid notices when they erroneously list my model as Ford Lincoln Mercury instead of the specific model, which they would know if they are indeed the warranty issuer. They need to be heavily fined and prosecuted for such devious marketing tactics.

I too have received about 4 of these notices in the past month. I can imagine that many people don't get it and fall for this scam -- or devious marketing tactics as you put it. Very scary! It is amazing they get away with this and have not been prosecuted of yet.
