So figured this was a scam from the absurd IRS lawsuit voicemail that was left last night. My boss called the number (509.588.7292) this morning.
They looked my last name up from my home phone number, and then said my name and my zipcode.
They said we owed $5283.73 from an audit done from 2008 - 2013.
He threatened the lawsuit, driver's license suspended, house, they whole nine yards.
Told us to get the money and to call back, they would give us an account number to put it in or we could do a payment plan.
When we started pushing back, the man asked if my boss knew where I was and then said he had kidnapped the wife (me) and he would not get her back until he paid the money.
When we accused them of being a scammer, he said he was going to get me and f*ck me.

Posted on craigslist for sale....riding lawn mower. received text from 818-714-7400 with offer to buy. Was told I would receive a bank/cashier check in 3 - 5 days. I know not to cash check but my worry is that this scammer knows my home address. What can I do?

Says I'm going to be arrested. But when you actually get to speak to someone, a Mr. James answered and wouldn't even tell me what snything was about much less a case number

they told me they were taking legal action against me on a bill that has been taken care of. and a few months ago called me on a different billing matter saying they were a company called white and associates. I told them bring it on and see them in court and they hung up on me after telling me all about me beint a single mom and I need to teach my daughter to be more responsible than I am and to stop playing on their phone after numerous times calling them back due to them hanging up on me. They also knew my full name, address, social, and credit information. huge scammers
