I was using Google Chrome and a separate tab opened itself informing me that my computer's security had been compromised and to call this # immediately.
Natalie answered, asking to verify if I was on a laptop/desktop, using Windows 7/8, etc. Finally directed me to a website where she asked I type in my first name and then a code she was going to give me, saying that this would prompt a download to give her access to my computer to find out what was wrong with it.
It's a SCAM. They intend to encrypt and hijack your entire computer and it is not fixable without their encryption code... which they will give you after you pay them.

This lady called earlier professing that she needed to have a bonded courier deliver a letter to me at an address I have not lived at in 12 years from a company that does not exist. She gave me a phone number to call as well as a "case number". The phone number is not associated with any legitimate company in the United States. This is why scammers target the elderly. Anyone who knows how to use Google gets past them.
