Just received a call from an unknown number from Sheriff Patrick Miller Badge 2486, Orlando County regarding a warrant for my arrest. I needed to call Jack Dawson Federal Officer of the District Courts Federal Crime and Enforcement Network PH # 410-567-4118, to clarify this warrant, or I will be arrested immediately by Sheriff Miller. I reported this incident, and its a total scam for $$$$$. BE CAREFUL!

I got a call from officer Jake Dawson 1-850-910-8076. claims I owe a loan I didn't pay back. He knew all my personal info. He even left a msg on my mothers voicemail for me. He gave me a badge # and the name of a Smitts Lawfirm in Milton, Florida! He screamed at me when I asked questions. wanted me to give him 190.00 to take care of loan. thanks for F.T.C. # I am calling now.

I was just called by Officer Jack Dawson who informed me that I had a nonexistent past debt. i had informed him that I am a debt collector and that he was violating several laws. At thst point he started yelling at sn inaudible level. He then lowered his voice lowered it enough to understand him yelling vicious name calling.
I have already called the Federal Trade Commission and made a report.
You cantact the F.T.C. to file a report and they will notify the F.B.I.

I was called today regarding a debt a friend of mine "owed" and Jack was attempting to collect a dept before the case went to court. I was informed that if he (my friend) did not pay he would be taking both of us to court. First of all I have never been to Florida. Second of all I have never shared a debt with anyone, not even a family memeber of mine in my life. I have contacted my lawyer and the local police here in Kansas. I called him back and he gave me an address then i told him i would persue this issue as far as i could. . .then i hung up on him.

I received a call today, at my place of employment, from an officer "Jack Dawson" about a case filed against me. He knew all my personal info, including my social sec. #, home address, e-mail address and work address. He read me an "affidavit," explaining to me that I had the option to hire an attorney and risk going to jail, or to settle it out of court over the phone (red flag, of course, when do police officers collect money?). This man had a heavy Middle Eastern accent and started speaking in a threatening matter when I said that I wouldn't settle over the phone and started to question the validity of the phone call. He hung up on me after claiming that he would "make sure that I would be in serious trouble."
I called my local police to file a report, only to hear that they had heard of a similar complaint just a few weeks ago. After coming to the conclusion that this indeed was an attempted scam, I called the number back that was provided to me by "Officer Dawson." I told them that I had filed the report with the police and they were not to contact me any further. The person on the other line just playfully said, "I love you." (Are you kidding me? Who are these idiotic people?!!!)
This, by far, is the most ridiculous attempt at a scam that I have ever heard of. I pray that no one actually falls for this and that the "things" behind this get what they deserve.

just rec. call from 919-714-0001 clled left message could hardly understand him. i caled him back and told him im a state empoyee and nevr heard about a federal agencyy contacting me by phone, and i was going to file a complaint with the mass atty generals office, his rely was do so right now sir and hung up. total scamm call comes from north carolina somewhere.
