I just got the same call but this time his name was Officer Paul Anderson from the IRS and he left me the same message so I'm blocking the number which is the same one that called you.

On 8/11/14 at 4:25pm, this 'Officer Paul Smith' left a message on my Voice Mail. It basically said (He has a HEAVY Middle Eastern Accent so it was difficult to hear all the words clearly but I DO have the vm) that He was from the IRS, then very mumbled, HR department regarding a 'legal debt' of unconfirmed (more mumbled words) and will cause this allegation to cause repercussions and criminal charges IF I don't reply to him Immediately.
Well I DID NOT reply to him...I reported this to Spokeo as well...I plan on either blocking that # OR totally asking my cell carrier to give me a new number.
I live and am alone...This has totally rattled me that IF this moron has my cell # does he also know where I live????

Man with very heavy accent claiming to be "Officer Paul Smith" with the IRS. He states that there is a legal case has been filed against my name due to the taxes I paid last year. I confirmed with Knoxville PD that this is a known scam from this number and they are aware of it. DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL NOR GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR MONEY! This call was received on my cell phone.
