Called seven times in one day, saying they were Edward Nash of Law Offices of Oscar Gamble. returned call; they were looking for an estranged family member we have not seen in 11 years. Stated there was an "association" between long-lost family member and our home address and phone number. Truthfully told them we do not know whereabouts of family member, were told that we would "go to jail" if we did not reveal location of family member. Stated family member was wanted for "theft of property" and was facing jail time. Freely identified that this was regarding a debt to Aaron's rent-a-Center in another state. Stated again they were a lawyer/lawyer's office. Currently seeking information on location to file a suit under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Several violations on recorded phone call. Call your state Attorney General.

hi mellisa i recieved a call on the 8th i have searched every where for this company and i could not find anything on them, i was terrified at the initial call but i just filed a complaint with the attorne generals office they claim i was going to be charged with a felony and do state prison time..

WELL, I CALLED THE LOS ANGELOS ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND I'M FILING A COMPLAINT, AND FOLLOWING IT UP W/A FEDERAL LAWSUIT. These people are extremely rude. They claim to be a fraud colectio agency of some sort. They call themselves The offices of Oscar Gamble . When you try to get any information to correct an error they just hang up. Not a very reputable establishment. Very shay in fact. Over the last year I have told them I do not know who they keep calling & harassing for & tried to correct their data. I was told to get a life & just ignore their harasments. They cut off & twist what I said when I tried to get the information to correct it. They said the person has a warrant. I hope the pick the person up so they stop harrasing me.

Confirmed w local police, these people are scam artists using scare tactics to extort innocent people. They hung up on me a couple times when I called their bluff. Told them I wasn't who they were looking for and then threatened my supposed family member would be arrested. Reported to national do not call registry too run by Federal Trade Commission. Scum buckets need to get caught.
