Police Association

After I answered the call the real caller inquired, "hello?" after a two second pause. Then a recording played a message alleging to be a "Police Association Fund Raiser." The Recording asked a question that I remained silent and did not answer. The caller then inquired, "hello?" again and then hung up. The caller "New York" ID number is "917-795-8561."

Says he's from a Police Association; I called him out on it and said I don't deal with scammers. He said he wasn't a scammer and continued to talk. I had a call from another number 713 area code yesterday with a similar message. I spoke to an officer in person here a couple of months ago that said Police associations don't work this way.
