There are real but use scare tactics to get you to settle. I had two allegations held against me and the charges were $1600. I was going through hardship and had too many payday loans in 2008;like 3 or 4. I closed my bank account so that the lenders could not draft my account. After I paid my settlement of $700 plus $30 processing fee, I was given a confirmation code and statement of the case via email. They will also send me a case close report via U.S mail. This is real folks. They are not scammers. If you had a payday loan in the past and defaulted, then this is a real lawsuit. If you take it to court, you could face higher fees and garnishments of your wages.

Claimed I took out a "payday" loan in 2009 and when they went to collect from Bank of America, the account was closed. Told me I owed $1700+ and would settle for $734 today. Strange part is they new the last four digits of my social and BoA was my bank back then. They said if I didn't pay it would head to a trial. I said "So be it. Do what you have to do. It is not me. Never did a payday loan but did have Identity theft." Gentlemen told me that he didn't like my relaxed attitude and it wasn't a joke and hung up on me.
Now, now, Mr. Hawkins. Temper. Temper. Fraud/Scam all the way. Scary as he has my info.

This is a scamming debt collector agency! They threatened me by telling me they were talking me to court and even had papers from the county clerk office on me, and that I committed a felony by not paying my bill! I believed them and they got my check card number and took out money from my bank card! Checked in about it this, and cone to find out it was a scam and fraud!
