I just went to the FCC.com to file a complaint. Hopefully each of you will do the same. I want to do whatever I can to stop criminals like these guys.

Received call today. Caller ID shows 1-312-625-5537 which always has a busy signal when I tried to return the call several times. The man that left a voicemail said that his name is Richard Hugh and that the official contest to win the SUV was over, but that he was looking at my entry from "some time ago," and that I would be very happy if I returned his call at 1-866-430-3177. I found all of these posts online about this scam, but decided that I would call and not give any of my personal information. When I called the 1-866-430-3177, I spoke to a man who identified himself as Paul. I stated that I received a voicemail from Richard Hugh. He stated "oh, you are from Louisiana?" I responded yes. He asked me what my name is, so I asked him, "What is this in regards too?" Then his speech became pressured and rapid while he said that I was in the final drawing for a Lincoln Navigator, and that if I win, I will receive a certified letter in the mail during the last week of June. Then he hung up. He never even got my name. I have never entered a contest for an SUV. It looks like this scam has been going on for quite some time, as evidenced by the many posts online. How can these guys still be operating? Who is stupid enough to give out their personal information over the phone? And why hasn't anyone tried to stop them from continuing this scam? I feel bad for the naive and vulnerable people who do not know any better.
