Scammer saying they're from Recovery Processing company and threatening court notices and even to show up at your house or job; gives a case number and sometimes the wrong name. This time they said it's about "insolvency"; the person spoke perfect English and their spiel is worded well enough to scare people - evidently they're calling from this new number and who knows how many others, but the main info on this SCAM I could find is for another number which was 888-633-2049. Called trying to reach a friend of mine threating to come to their home or work for "service". Also called from a restricted number and left this number to call back.

Received voicemail from anonymous number- caller Samantha Morgan "formally notifying" me I had been served verbal warning for a civil suit. Proceeded to threaten they would come to my "residency" (her words) and employment if they didn't receive a release from lender. Said I could make arrangements by calling 1-888-783-4057. HERE IS THE CATCH: the alleged "claimant" is the PREVIOUS tentant at my residence, who I have never met. How they got my private cell number linked with the previous tentant is surely illegal and violates privacy laws. I called the number and received an answering machine for Recovery Processing Services. I will report this company and number to the BBB.
