I received a call from them also, I told them nothing about myself except that I would call USAA directly. Turns out it was after business hours. I reported the number to USAA and they confirmed it was a scam.
866-228-3614 and the guys name was Omar Perez

We've received several calls from this number & they finally left a message today. A man identifying himself as 'Ronald' claimed to be from USAA & requested a callback to ext. 6328. That extension was a red flag because USAA extensions typically have 5 digits. My husband called the usual USAA phone number & they confirmed that this is a scam. Needless to say, I'm extremely glad none of us answered any of the calls. I will be blocking this number from now on.

Calls using iChat/FaceTime with video (I put tape over my camera some time ago). The guy is black.
Number is 832-275-7536. He sent a text message saying “Call me this is Ronald”. I called back and he said “wrong number, sorry buddy”. I have had three calls from that number today, 20/12/2019.
