It was Spectrum, phoning from one of many numbers it uses nationwide in a relentless campaign to hawk its wares. Spectrum also phones from (805) 219-8411, (844) 791-7356, (855) 206-7181, (866) 210-7707, and possibly (888) 471-7146.
If Spectrum believes that carpet bombing the nation with robocalls will win friends and influence people, it should read Dale Carnegie's classic 1936 book on this topic.

Another unwanted call from this Guadalupe VOIP number arrived the other day. As usual, when the answering machine picked up, there was dead silence -- a strong sign of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who shamelessly prey on the public.
This troll is a Spectrum scammer, who also places robocalls from (866) 210-7707, (844) 791-7356, (855) 206-7181, and probably others.
Cable companies as a whole (including Charter Spectrum) lost 1.1 million subscribers in the 9 months ending Sept. 30. Does Spectrum really believe that spending money to blanket America will relentless robocalls will bring their former customers back? SHAME ON THEM!

This Spectrum scammer attempted an unlawful contact last night, but didn't bother to leave a message on the answering machine. Spectrum phones from multiple area codes (251, 424, 844, 855, 866, & 888) and prefixes to hoodwink victims into picking up the phone. Stop them in their tracks: LET YOUR ANSWERING DEVICE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS.
